Announcement of 2023-2024 Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Elections
Hello, Hambright Parents/Guardians!
According to the by-laws, we are now required to announce the start of the election
process in February, post notice of nominees in March, and hold elections in April.
Please allow this message to serve as our announcement of the start of the election
process for officers for the 2023-2024 school year!
Because we hold elections annually, all board positions are open to any parent or
guardian of a student who will attend Hambright next year even if current officers are
willing to return. The board positions are president, vice president, secretary, and
treasurer. If there is only one nominee for a particular office, our by-laws state that no
election of that office will be needed.
Please note: All PTO positions are voluntary and unpaid.
If you are interested in learning more about the potential duties of each position
AND/OR you are interested in being a nominee for any of the board positions,
please contact the PTO via email by the March 9th PTO meeting
(ptohambright@gmail.com).
Thank you!
Lauren Weaver and Joel Denlinger, PTO Co-Presidents, on behalf of the PTO Board
Please reach out to your child's classroom teacher to register for this event.
Just a few reminders...
Drop-off - Please remain in your vehicle. Students should exit quickly and enter the building from 8:50-9am.
Breakfast - Students may enter the building at 8:35 for breakfast.
Come to school prepared - Bring your laptop and charger, glasses, lunch, water bottle...
As we are in the colder months, please remember to dress for the weather.
If you are absent, send in an excuse note promptly.
