PTO Committees

The following is a list of PTO committees which need your support as well as a description and ballpark time commitment of each committee. Parents, guardians, teachers, and staff are all welcome to be a coordinator or member of a committee.

  • Fall Family Fun Night – (10/18) Committee responsible for organizing and planning the night’s activities.

  • Sub Sale– (November- subs are distributed Nov 13th) Committee helps with ordering, record keeping and distribution of subs.

  • Holiday Shoppe– (December 14th & 18th) Committee is responsible for planning and organizing the 2 day Shoppe where students purchasing gifts for their families and/or friends.

  • Restaurant Night– (February) In charge of organizing and planning event at a local restaurant.

  • Spring Family Fun Roller skating Night– (March) Committee is responsible for organizing and planning party at the Castle Roller skating rink.

  • End of the Year Picnic– (5/16) Committee is in charge of organizing and planning the night’s activities including set up, games, and clean up.

  • Race for Education– (5/2) Help committee plan and organize the day’s events.

  • Teacher Appreciation– committee organizes various teacher appreciation events throughout the school year and during the week of Teacher Appreciation (May).

  • PTO “Office Helpers” – Assist PTO officers with copying and mailbox distribution in the office.  This can be done on an as needed basis or once a month.  Volunteers will be taught how to use office copier and procedures for distributing hand outs.

  • Playground Volunteers – When available, assist staff in monitoring playground activities outside during lunch recesses or in classrooms during indoor recess.  You must be available during the school day.

  • Box Tops– Committee in charge of collecting and processing box tops. All counting of box tops can be done at home and returned to school.  Volunteering can be on a one time basis or as needed.
